General Information
The Critic’s Choice Series is a 12 week
series of films commonly referred to as ‘art films’.
The films selected for the series may include films that
are controversial, limited in number and availability,
foreign, documentaries, and other such films that are
preferred by the discerning viewer. At Marketplace
Cinema, we are very excited to be able to provide
alternative choices from the big ‘blockbusters’. We
would like to invite you to patronize our series, and
thank those patrons who have made it a success!
Price
A Critic’s Choice Series ticket may be
purchased for $48. This ticket entitles the bearer to
one admission each week to the featured ‘art film’ for
each of the 12 weeks. In addition, series ticket
holders will receive a $2 discount off any concession
order greater than $5 during Critic’s Choice showtimes.
By purchasing a season ticket, you will save up to $36. Tickets will go on
sale approximately four weeks prior to the beginning of
the series.
Admission without series ticket will be
$5 per person.
Restrictions
Due to the content of
many of the films, and the intent of this series to be
for the adult viewer, no-one under 12 years old will be
allowed entrance into any film in this series. Persons
aged 12 to 16 will require a parent for admission and
purchase of series ticket.
Film Schedule
Each Critic’s Choice film will play....
Monday through Friday at 5:00pm
and
Saturday & Sunday at 1:00pm
The first four
films of each series selected by management.
The remaining eight films in the series will be selected
by Critic's Choice Series patrons via voting cards at
the box office. This series is truly your series!
